For aspiring students, nothing brings higher education to life better than seeing themselves in the role. Yavapai College invites prospective students – of every age and background – to walk the campus, speak with instructors, and imagine the next step of their lives at the Prescott Campus Open House, Sat., Apr. 25, from 9–11 a.m., at 1100 Sheldon Street in Prescott.

Many people find the concept of college intimidating or unlikely – it’s too difficult; too expensive; it doesn’t fit my lifestyle. Yavapai College’s Prescott Campus Open House offers a chance to shatter the misconceptions and break any obstacles down into doable steps.

Prospective students can meet Yavapai College faculty members and explore the College’s wide range of certificate programs, associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, and transfer options. They can take a guided tour of the campus, and learn about the many scholarships, financial aid and payment options that make tuition more affordable. And they can consult with admissions specialists and even submit a free application on-site.

Attendees will also have a chance to win exciting prizes, including Amazon gift cards and more. Refreshments will be available.

Registration is recommended but not required—those interested in attending may do so online at Register for the Prescott Open House
