Transcripts

Request official or unofficial Yavapai College transcripts, or learn how to send transcripts from another institution to Yavapai College for credit evaluation.

Start with the right transcript task

Current and former students can request YC transcripts. Students who completed coursework at another institution can also have official transcripts sent directly to Yavapai College for evaluation.

Important requirement

Transcripts from other colleges must be sent directly from the prior institution. Yavapai College does not accept transcripts from the student by mail or email.

Former YC Students

Former students may order official transcripts online, in person, or by mail. Unofficial transcripts are also available to former students at no charge.

Stop in at any YC campus. Same-day pickup is only available at the Prescott Campus.

Unofficial transcripts: Available to former students at no charge with photo ID.

Order by Mail

Submit a signed request and include a cashier’s check or money order for $15.00 per transcript requested.

Personal checks and credit cards are not accepted by mail.

Include the Following in Your Request

  • Signature of the student. Requests cannot be processed without this.
  • Current name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Yavapai College Student ID Number
  • Name and address of the person or institution receiving the transcript
  • Whether the transcript should be sent after specified grades or degree posting

Current YC Students

Current students can request official transcripts directly through their YC Student Account.

Military Transcripts

Military training completed after 1980 may provide transfer credit toward college-level courses. Requesting military transcripts is free, and the Joint Services Transcript can email official transcripts to Yavapai College.

Transcript Evaluations from Other Schools

Students who completed coursework at other institutions and want to apply credits toward a Yavapai College degree or certificate must contact their previous college or colleges and have official transcripts sent directly to Yavapai College Registrar.

Yavapai College does not accept transcripts from the student, either by mail or by email. Transcripts must come directly from the prior institution.

Transcripts are generally evaluated within two weeks of being received by Yavapai College. Students can verify evaluated credit by logging into their account at yc.edu.

Transfer students should meet with an advisor as early as possible.
